Siem Reap, Cambo - part 2

has it been a week already?  damn.  for my last meal in cambo, i decided to have a local fav...crocodile.  it wasn't that bad actually.  would i order it again?  probably not if there were other tasty things on the menu.  here's some more of my picture tour...

when in cambo...

this is kinda sad.  all these guys had parts of their bodies blow off due to landmines.  there are 1,000's upon 1,000's that are still out there.  cambo was in a civil war for about 35-40 years.  as a result, there doors were pretty much shut off to foreigners until about 10 years ago.  there tourist economy is starting to get going now.  u can still get a private tour w/ driver and translator for $30 a day.  good deal & nice people.

this kewt little hustler girl charges you to take her picture w/ a snake.

i prefer to do the thai pinch instead of using one of these wipe w/ your hand toilets.

we made a trek thru the jungle...

these 2 kewt lil girls (settle down big al) followed us around and just giggled the whole time.  i wish i got a better pic of them.

on the way to see the sleeping buddha

it's me main man buddha takin a siesta.

what is this?   ah...a glorious waterfall.

what's up now, foo?  the water is niiiiice.

hey u...c'mon down!

how splendid the falls are when they fall.

see what i'm talking about?

here was my kewt local tour guide at the falls & around the village.

after a long day of trekking and swimming, nothing beats the local beer.
